Addresses Needed Attention parents of college students and college students. The Evangelism committee is planning a little project for our college student before the Christmas break. We need the names and addresses of our young adults who are in college by Monday, November 27th. If you gave us the information when classes started, you do not need to resubmit it. Please leave the information with the church office or email it to Paula Keehr at p.keehr@vyn.midco.net

Advent Study For our Advent study this year we will be using Adam Hamilton's book "Faithful, Christmas through the eyes of Joseph" We will be meeting the following Wednesday evenings at 7:15pm in the Sanctuary, Nov. 29th, Dec. 6th, Dec. 13th and Dec. 20th.  Cost of the book is $15. In this study, you will understand how Joseph's place in the nativity story is much like our own. In life, we encounter circumstances that we would have never chosen for ourselves. At times it can be tempting just to walk away. Joseph provides us a great example of humbly obeying God even when we don't understand and faithfully moving forward in the strength that God provides. Exchange your doubt for courage this Advent and Christmas season.

Christmas Celebration Sunday

Christmas time is a busy season with all of us, we are all going in different directions to spend time with loved ones and families. But many times we miss the chance to celebrate the joy of Christmas with our Church Family, so this year we are having a Church Christmas Celebration Sunday on Sunday, December 10th.   It will be a day of worship, fellowship, fun, and celebration.

We will start our celebration with the band “One Way Up” joining us for worship at both services that morning.  At 3pm we will have our Sunday School Christmas program.  Following the program, we will have a Potluck Supper in Wesley Hall. Following the supper our Jr. and Sr. High Youth Groups will have games and activities for the kids. So break out your most festive Christmas sweater and join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus!  Sign-up sheets for the potluck will be in Wesley Hall starting Sunday, November 26th.

Come help Barb Hirsch celebrate her 60th birthday with an open house November 25th from 3-5pm at Sunrise apartments.

On November 26th our congregation will have the opportunity to participate in Giving Tuesday (November 28th) offering all of us a chance to give to those in need. Our donations will go to Tree of Life this year. This is a unique opportunity as we have an anonymous donor that will match what we give up to $2,500. Please prayerfully consider supporting Giving Tuesday by putting your gift in the offering envelope on November 26th. Thank you!

A huge thank you to those who have volunteered to help usher for our worship services. We are still in need of assistant ushers for the 8:30 am and the 11:00 am service the 2nd Sunday of each month.  Beginning in November we will need four ushers for the 11:00 service the second Sunday. We would also like to increase our pool of substitutes to help out when needed. Please prayerfully consider helping out with this important ministry of our church.  Please contact Craig Sherman, if you wish to help out with this ministry. Email: cs2254@yahoo.com or 665-7182.

KYNT Radio Broadcast Sponsors Needed

The signup folder is located on the table in the Church Lounge. Several dates in November are available.  There are other dates still available. The cost to sponsor a Sunday broadcast is $45.00.

Live Nativity Looking for Animals Hello friends! We are looking for some live animals for this year’s Live Nativity. Do you know someone with a cow, a donkey and some sheep? Maybe even a camel? Or you might know someone that knows someone with animals. Please let the Worship Committee know by contacting Wyatt Yager at wyatt.yager@gmail.com Thank you!
