Website Coordinator needed we are looking for someone to build a new website for the church. If you would like more information please contact Jenae Norton.

Membership Class we will be leading a Membership class on November 14th and November 28th, it will consist of 2 sessions from 6:00 - 8:00pm. The class is for those who are transferring their membership from another UMC or from another denomination as well as those who have no membership in any church at the present time.  Persons interested in attending this class should contact Rev. Ron (665-2991 or revron24@gmail.com).

On November 26th our congregation will have the opportunity to participate in Giving Tuesday (November 28th) offering all of us a chance to give to those in need. Our donations will go to Tree of Life this year. This is a unique opportunity as we have an anonymous donor that will match what we give up to $2,500. Please prayerfully consider supporting Giving Tuesday by putting your gift in the offering envelope on November 26th. Thank you!

A huge thank you to those who have volunteered to help usher for our worship services. We are still in need of assistant ushers for the 8:30 am and the 11:00 am service the 2nd Sunday of each month.  Beginning in November we will need four ushers for the 11:00 service the second Sunday. We would also like to increase our pool of substitutes to help out when needed. Please prayerfully consider helping out with this important ministry of our church.  Please contact Craig Sherman, if you wish to help out with this ministry. Email: cs2254@yahoo.com or 665-7182.

Or you might know someone that knows someone with animals. Please let the Worship Committee know by contacting Wyatt Yager at wyatt.yager@gmail.com Thank you!

The Yankton Area Literacy Council is providing a program entitled “Math is Fun” to elementary students in the Yankton School District. Volunteers work with children for 1 hour, from 3:30-4:30, each week to help them improve their addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills. A lot of our work is done with flash cards. When needed, we also provide assistance with time-telling and money counting skills. We presently have tutors in each of the 4 elementary schools. Administrators have more children they would like to include, but we need volunteers before they can be added. If you think you could help a child improve his/her math skills, or if you have questions about the program, please call the Yankton Area Literacy Council (605) 760-4803 or Patty Stuelpnagel, 605-660-1088.
