·      If you are new to F.U.M.C. and visiting with us today, we would appreciate it if you would take the time to fill out the Visitor Card that is placed in the back of the pew pockets. You may then turn this card into the Welcome Table in the lobby at the base of the staircase and you will receive a Welcome Bag!  Thank you for being with us today!

Website Coordinator needed we are looking for someone to build a new website for the church. If you would like more information please contact Jenae Norton.

- The Annual Soup Kitchen and Country Store, is Wednesday, October 18th, will be an important day for our church. It is an opportunity for our entire congregation to enjoy great fellowship while working together toward a very worthy goal. The event is a project of the

United Methodist Women but it needs everyone to successfully raise funds designated for camping scholarships and local missions. How can you be involved? Your donations of food and items for the Country Store are needed as well as your willingness to work during the day. A “white elephant” table will also be part of the Country Store. New, like new, and never used household and personal items may be donated for sale. No clothing, please. Remember if you are canning, the Country Store can always use home canned things. We count on your help to make this a very successful event.

A huge thank you to those who have volunteered to help usher for our worship services.   We are still in need of assistant ushers for the 8:30 am and the 11:00 am service the 2nd Sunday of each month.  Beginning in November we will need four ushers for the 11:00 service the second Sunday.  We would also like to increase our pool of substitutes to help out when needed.  Please prayerfully consider helping out with this important ministry of our church.  Please contact Craig Sherman, if you wish to help out with this ministry. Email: cs2254@yahoo.com or 665-7182.

NO Quilting, Tuesday, October 17th, since they are setting up for the Soup Kitchen in Our Quilting Room. We will be quilting on Tuesday, October 24th.
