*CALL TO WORSHIP

Come and draw near to God.

We come to praise God and to learn.

Praise the God who is one and unchanging.

We praise God and ask to be made again in his image.

God’s Spirit is among us and within us.

May we allow God’s Spirit to work in and through us now and forever.

*OPENING PRAYER

*HYMN OF PRAISE #384 (Um hymnal) “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling”

*LITANY “I Send You My Spirit”

O World of Mine, I send you my Spirit.

Do not leave us alone!

My Spirit of Truth, your Comforting Friend, will stay with you forever.

Do not leave us alone!

I will not leave you desolate. A time comes when the world will not see me, but you

will recognize me. You will know that I live, and because I live, you shall live also.

Do not leave us alone!

In days soon to come you will well understand. I am in God. You are in me. I am in you.

Do not leave us alone!

Behold the Spirit God sends in my name! Receive the Counselor! Welcome the Spirit in!

Peace Christ leaves us; peace Christ gives us. Let not our hearts be

troubled, neither let them be afraid.
