- KYNT Radio Broadcast It’s time to sign up to sponsor a Radio Broadcast during the 2016 year.  The signup folder is located on the table in the Church Lounge. If you want a certain date, get signed up right away.  The cost to sponsor a Sunday broadcast is $45.00.

 

- Christmas Eve Worship We will have two worship services on Christmas Eve, 4:30 and 7:00pm.  Both will be the candlelight service and will include special music.  A special offering will be received. Plan now to attend one of these worship services.

 

- 2016 Offering Envelopes The 2016 Offering Envelopes will be available for pick up at the Christmas Eve Services, Sunday, December 27th and during the week following. They will be located on a table in the lobby. Members of the Finance Committee will be at the table to help you find yours on Christmas Eve. If you do not want your envelopes please let Lisa in the office know.

 

- The New Year for United Methodist Women will begin on Monday January 4, 2016, at 1:30pm. It will be a jam-packed meeting including Installation of the 2016 officers, devotions by Mary Alice Halverson with Rose Nedved at the piano, a presentation by Kenny Tomek, Hy-Vee dietician, with tips on staying healthy, and a Pledge Service for Missions.  A short business meeting will follow and then a light snack will be served by Anne Withrow and Mary Alice Halverson.  Start the New Year with a resolution to be an active part of UMW for 2016!!

 

- Calendars Available 2016 calendars, compliments of Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home, are now available. You can pick them up from the table in the Church Lounge or outside the Church Office. 

 

- Angel Tree The Missions committee wishes to thank everyone who provided a gift for the Angel Tree.  107 gifts were delivered to children and youth at Milk’s Camp.

Erna Huitema Erna is a retired elementary teacher and ESL (English as a Second Language, K-12).  She lived and taught in 5 different states and 2 countries for a total of 38 years. She has two grown children Barry Jr. & Erika and 5 grandchildren.
