Come and see the Christmas Story presented by members of our own church, along with real live camels, goats, sheep, and Mary's kind conveyance, the donkey. Experience Jesus' birth out under the open sky, with stars shining above, and then refresh yourself with warm drinks and warm fellowship in Wesley Hall after the performances. Parking spaces will be reserved for those who should not be out in the cold, preferring to watch from their cars. Any questions or interest in helping, please call or email Evie Sime (661-6255 eviesime@gmail.com).

- Fontanini Bethlehem Village on display A beautiful Fontanini Bethlehem Village consisting of more than 400 pieces is on display now through December 19th. The village can be viewed in the Mount Marty College Boardroom, located in the Scholastica Learning Center (SLC). Viewing will be open from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7th through Friday, Dec. 18th and Special Saturday viewings will also be available on December 12 and 19 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. This is a great FREE activity for the entire family or group. This year’s display consists of a self-guided tour through key points in the Christmas story, using the Gospel of Luke. “This is much more than a nativity scene,” says Director of Campus Ministry, Sr. Maribeth Wentzlaff. “This is a depiction of what life in Bethlehem would have looked like at the time of Jesus’s birth.  It is an opportunity for the people in the community to further understand what it was like during another period of time and reality.” For more information on the village or to arrange for a group visit please contact Mount Marty College Events Coordinator, Wyatt Yager at events@mtmc.edu.
