PASSING THE PEACE OF CHRIST

GREAT THANKSGIVING FOR ADVENT

    The Lord be with you.

And also with you.

    Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

It is right to give thanks and praise.

And so, with your people on earth, and all the company of heaven we praise your name and join their unending hymn:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might

heaven and earth are full of your glory.

Hosanna in the highest.  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.  Hosanna in the highest.

And so, in remembrance of these your mighty acts in Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in praise and thanksgiving as a holy and living sacrifice, in union with Christ’s offering for us, as we proclaim the mystery of faith.

Christ has died.  Christ has risen.  Christ will come again.

Through your Son Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit in your holy Church, all honor and glory is yours, almighty Father, now and for ever.

Amen.

Any questions or interest in helping, please call or email Evie Sime (661-6255 eviesime@gmail.com).

- Annual Angel Tree in the lobby is up. Our angels are children newborn thru age 18 that reside in Milk’s Camp (near Tree of Life). If you’d like to help make sure these children are remembered at Christmas take an Angel! We encourage you to purchase 1 item of clothing (sweatshirts, shirts-loose fitting item) and a toy. If you’d like to help but aren’t comfortable or able to shop. Take an Angel and place it and $25 in an envelope and leave in the church office. Those buying gifts make sure the angel is securely taped to the gift. Angel gifts need to be at the church by Dec. 13th so they can be delivered in time for Christmas. Thank you for helping!
