GREAT THANKSGIVING FOR WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY

The Lord be with you.

And also with you.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

He sought the outcasts and broke bread with them, witnessing the fullness of your grace.

And so, with your people on earth and all the company of heaven we praise your name an

join their unending hymn:

This cup and your thoughts of me will sustain you and restore your spirits.

And so, in remembrance of these your mighty acts in Jesus Christ, we offer ourselves in

praise and thanksgiving as a holy and living sacrifice, in union with Christ’s offering for

us, as we proclaim the mystery of faith.

Amen

About our guest speaker

Bobby Jones is an engaging communicator, singer, songwriter, and performer.  He found his relationship with Christ in 2012 after experiencing many of life’s struggles.

He played college football at Michigan State University with hopes of an NFL career.  In falling short of his dream, Bobby fell into an alcohol addiction.  This took him down a path of destruction.  Bobby was lead to Christ after 9 months in recovery and found a new purpose for life and he wants to share that with you.

Bobby loves to share his story to motivate youth to make the right choices for their future. He hopes to inspire you and let God show you that he has a better plan for your life than you could ever imagine.
