RITUAL OF FRIENDSHIP (Please leave complete address)

*CALL TO WORSHIP

We come from all places and all people to gather here today.

Some of us traveled across the ice, others came later in boats,

still others of us waded rivers and arrived in planes.

We have found a land blessed

Blessed with mountains and valleys, rivers and oceans, fertile earth,

wonderful woods, and promising cities.

Here, a dream was born

A dream of freedom from all opportunities. A dream of hope for our

children. A dream of people in community under God.

We have turned to nations and people who gave us birth!

Send us the voiceless, Send us the fearful, Send us the oppressed.

And so the dream continues –

And so the dream continues- God help us to do your work until your

dreams come true.

GREAT THANKSGIVING

                  The Lord be with you.

            And also with you.

            Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

For such a place, such a vision and such a calling we give you thanks, praying we may ever join afresh the dreams you set before us as we join with your people in every land on

earth and with all the company of heaven in your unceasing praise:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

And so we remember and proclaim the mystery of faith.

Christ has died, Christ is risen, Christ will come again.

By him, with him, and in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, almighty God, now and ever.

Amen.

- VBS - Mt Everest It's only four weeks away and lots of plans are underway. The 2015 VBS program will be held August 2nd – 6th. Please check with your committee to see which duty has been assigned to them. Each night the program will run from 6:00-8:00pm. Please invite your family friends and neighbors to bring their children. The more kids we have the more fun it will be. I will once again be looking for volunteers to help with the preparing and setting up the props. We will be needing lots of mountain climbing gear and some tents and ropes and such for decorations.
