“To grow disciples of Jesus Christ and equip them for ministry in the world.”

 Time of Gathering and Praise

RITUAL OF FRIENDSHIP (Please leave complete address)

God calls us to change the world into God’s reign.

We are few in number and power.

God created little seeds that become mighty plants.

Can we grow into a might force?

God is our Creator. We are a mighty force.

We will seek to use our small words and gestures for great things

with God.

*COMMUNION HYMN #620 (blue hymnal) “One Bread, One Body”

   Christ be with you.

And also with you.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Holy One.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

And so, with your creatures on earth and all the heavenly chorus, we praise your name and join their unending hymn:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power of might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

And so, in remembrance of your mighty acts in Jesus Christ, we proclaim the mystery of faith.

Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.
