- KYNT Radio Broadcast It’s time to sign up to sponsor a Radio Broadcast during the 2015 year.  The signup folder is located on the table in the Church Lounge. If you want a certain date, get signed up right away.  The cost to sponsor a Sunday broadcast is $45.00.

- United Methodist Women will meet on Monday, February 2nd at 1:30pm in the upstairs lobby of the church.  Delores Kafka will present the devotions as well as co-hostess with Margie Stengle.  The program will feature Parish Nurse Susan Thorson and a presentation from a representative of Abbott House in Mitchell SD which provides residential and foster home treatment for girls between the ages of 7 and 18. All women of the church are invited to spend 90 minutes with us in conversation, education and worship.

- Needed Pillow Case dresses are being sewn for a March trip to Haiti. Donations of ribbon or bias tape are needed for this project. There will be a basket located in Wesley Hall for these items. 

- Financial Peace classes Sundays at 1pm in the Upper Room, please use the north entrance, east door. The class will last about 11/2 hours and is a 9 week course.  Classes are open to anyone new and costs $99. Anyone who has taken the class before may attend for free as a refresher course. Any questions please contact Denise Willman or Laurie Baily.

- Trappist monk and prolific author, Thomas Merton continues to inspire millions of people of all faiths.  Come reflect with us on the 100th anniversary of his birth.  A half-day event will celebrate “Thomas Merton: His Journey & Legacy” at the Benedictine Peace Center Sat., Jan. 31, 9:00 a.m. to noon, marking the 100th anniversary of Merton’s birth.  Register at jeanne.ranek@mtmc.edu / 605-668-6292.  Free will offering.  For more information and to download a brochure, go to www.yanktonbenedictines.org/center-events/.

Kids for Christ

Jan., 25th – KFC 4:30-5:30pm. Meet at the Ice Skating Arena. Please drop youth off at 4:30pm and pick up at 5:30pm.  

Jan., 30th – 31stWinter Connection (We need a male and female leader to take the kids to this event, stay with them the entire time and to drive them back to the church on Saturday)  

**Mark your calendars for Winter Connection January 30th @ 7 pm – January 31st @ 3pm.  The location is at FUMC in Sioux Falls.  This is a lock-in opportunity to share with area youth.  The kids will participate in a trip to the Washington Pavilion during the Winter Connection.
