The risen Christ lives among us, calling us to be a blessing,

calling us to heal and transform the brokenness and the violence of our world.

The risen Christ lives among us, calling us to be a blessing,

calling us to seek out the marginalized and those who need to experience

 God’s love.

The risen Christ lives among us, calling us to be a blessing,

calling us to be disciples to the world – blessed, healed, and sent.

*COMMUNION SONG OF INVITATION #2264 (black song book) (sing twice)

“Come to the Table”

Christ be with you.

And also with you.

Lift up your hearts.

We lift them up to God.

Let us give thanks to the Holy One.

It is right to give our thanks and praise.

And so, with your creatures on earth, and all the heavenly chorus, we praise your name

and join their unending hymn:

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your

glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the

Lord. Hosanna in the highest.

When the supper was over, Jesus took the cup, offered thanks, and gave it to the disciples, saying: “Drink from this, all of you; this is my life in the new covenant, poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” And so, in remembrance of your mighty acts in Jesus Christ…we proclaim the mystery of faith.

Christ has died. Christ has risen. Christ will come again.
